Kamel Amroune CEO, Farvest

Kamel Amroune is Farvest CEO, ITOne Partner and ICT Spring Co Founder. Passionate about ICT Sector and startups, Kamel is specialized in companies’ development, marketing strategy as well as cross sectors business enablement and promotion through his large local and international network. After a master in Services Marketing, he joined Farvest in 2007 when he played a crucial role in the ITOne community launch. A few months later, he co founded the ICT Spring, today renowned as one of the largest ICT summit in Europe.

Jean-Louis Schiltz Attorney, Schiltz & Schiltz

Jean-Louis Schiltz is the Senior partner at SCHILTZ & SCHILTZ and Professor (hon.) at the University of Luxembourg. Jean-Louis Schiltz is a regular speaker at tech law and innovation conferences and has authored and co-authored a number of articles and reports in the field over the last years. He serves as a member for a number of companies and non-profit organizations. From 2004 to 2009, Jean-Louis served as Cabinet Minister in Luxembourg. His portfolio included media, telecommunications, technology, international development and defence. Jean-Louis joined the firm in 1989 and was admitted to the Luxembourg bar the same year. Jean-Louis Schiltz holds a post graduate degree (DEA) in business law from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne. He has been teaching at his alma mater in the early 1990’s.

Xavier Buck Entrepreneur & Independent Board Member, Namespace Group

Xavier Buck is a Luxembourg entrepreneur and investor who, over the last 20 years, has made a name for himself in the field of information and communication technologies. In particular, he founded the domain name registrar EuroDNS and the hosting company Datacenter Luxembourg in 2000. In 2012, he created the Dicé Invest investment vehicle to enable him to support and invest in start-ups and companies with potential. He sits on numerous Boards of Directors and advisory boards.

Rajaa Mekouar-Schneider CEO, LPEA

Rajaa Mekouar-Schneider is the Head of PE for a prominent Luxembourg single family office and the CEO of the Luxembourg PEVC association, the LPEA. Rajaa has 20 years of professional experience, first at Procter & Gamble and since 2002 in Private Equity as a GP and an LP. Her PE roles included deal team roles at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Lazard European Private Equity Partners and Change Capital Partners in London. Rajaa was also the founding director of Maera Capital, a boutique dedicated to co-investing with family offices and family-owned businesses including Bouygues- and Pinault-backed Serendipity Investments and Massena Partners. Most recently she was the Head of Syndicate at family-backed co-investment platform, Kharis Capital. She is a graduate of HEC Grande Ecole in France and holds an MBA from INSEAD. She speaks French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic. Rajaa is a regular speaker at PE conferences, with a special focus on the role of Family Offices and direct / co-investments.
